Energy Efficient LED Lighting Offers Business (Cents)

Reducing our dependence on energy consumption is in the forefront of just about every american industry.  There are now many ways of reducing the amount of power and power from light usage in your home or office.

Low Voltage light bulbs typically range from 8 to 30 watts.  However, performance can vary greatly depending on your choice of LED or energy efficient bulb. Ultimately to go with CFL bulbs or a higher performing setup like dimmable LED lights will get you the most bang for your buck.

Within the next 5 years, our communities will see a dramatic increase in energy efficient lighting products, from the automotive industry, to homes, & commercial buildings, as well as public buildings, government properties and more.  Even our entire cities and communities will all be making the move to energy efficient lights in the very near future.

Common Uses of LED Lighting (Energy Efficient Lighting)

  • How much should I expect to save on my electric bill from upgrading to LEDs?
-Typically you can expect to save at least 50% percent on your lighting bill.  However, some
Energy Efficient LED Lights save up to 85%.
  • Can I buy them in a store?

  • Is the quality of LED lighting the same as current bulbs?
-LED's offer superior performance to that of any other light bulbs
  • Do LED Light Bulbs come in different wattage?
-Yes LED bulbs come in a variety of different wattages ranging from 6w all the way to 40watts for larger bulbs.

Common Mis-Conceptions of LED (Energy Efficient Lights)

LED Lights are not as bright as regular light bulbs or (incandescent bulbs)
FALSE
THEY ARE UP TO 10x BRIGHTER THAN REGULAR LIGHTS (INCANDESCENTS)
They don't last as long as (incandescent bulbs)
FALSE
THEY LAST UP TO 50x LONGER THAN REGUALR LIGHTS
They don't cost much less than (incandescents)
FALSE
THEY COST UP TO 80% LESS THAN REGULAR LIGHTS (INCANDESCENTS)

Numerous studies show that LED lighting is far mor efficient.  Infact LED Light Bulbs are up to 10 times more efficient than incandescent light bulbs.   LED bulbs out perform traditional light bulbs 5 to 1. They are brighter and more dynamic than any other light bulb in the world.

LED Rooms That Rock Your World

Technicolor LED lights light up the room as you walk in leaving you stunned in a trance.  Digitally choreographed music sets them in motion and it's pure eye-candy for anyone in this nightclub.

Many UK nightclubs have set this rapidly growing trend of led lit rooms and now they're spreading west to the United States.   This is one of those "have to see it to believe it" kinda things.

Wisconsin LED Lighting

A Racine, Wis., manufacturing company is busy filling orders for cites across America seeking to brighten their communities with energy efficient led lighting.
A division company of Ruud Lighting, Inc., BetaLED is seeing a sizable boost in their business as cities tap into existing Recovery Act funds to purchase light emitting diode (LED) fixtures & bulbs for its roadways, parking lots, and complexes.  Thousands of lights in cities across America, such as San Jose, Ca., Scottsdale, Ariz., and Anchorage, Alaska, have already been replaced with BetaLED lighting products.
“It’s a win for everyone: the environment, the cities, buildings, for us,” said Gianna O’Keefe, marketing manager for Ruud Lighting.  Given the current tax incentives to obtain efficient lighting, there couldn't be a better time to upgrade to solid-state lighting.
The cities’ decision to switch to LED lighting isn’t surprising to Alan Ruud, CEO and chairman of the company.  They emit more light, have a longer life than incandescent & high-pressure sodium lights, and provide a 50 to 70 percent in energy savings, he says.
“I don’t see why anyone would care to use anything but LED,” Alan says. “They out perform current bulbs and only use half the energy.”
BetaLED has been supplying clean energy-efficient lighting to clients around the globe since 2001.  BetaLED entered the industry when LEDs were capable of just 8 lumens per watt (LPW).  That number jumped up to 40 LPW in 2006. Today, BetaLED has products that have luminous efficacy of 100+ LPW.
Their investment in the technology over the last 10 years has paid off. Since its inception, the company has seen a steady increase in sales, and it has hired more workers since last year.
